“BAGEECHA” is the name of a lovely garden where we grow and tend to all the flowers. Shilpa Johar’s film “BAGEECHA” makes a lovely attempt to portray a garden. Om is the primary character and the head of the family, and the director uses a distinctive opening to show their life. Om, who is an immigrant gardener, struggles to provide the basic necessities of life to his family as, being a gardener, his income is very low and there is not enough water in their home, despite the fact that we can see a water pipe supplying them. The fact that they are content with their tea not having sugar in it further illustrates the director’s perspective on their struggle in life. Due to financial limitations, Om’s son Veer works somewhere else in the garden, while his father also works there. This is the main idea of the Bageecha story: Shilpa Johar makes their lives easier.

The audience is left guessing what will happen next as the movie opens in a garden! The construction is distinct despite the story’s simplicity. When Veer unexpectedly passes away, the director skillfully stages the moment. The central theme of this tale is crisis. We all make mistakes in times of crisis; even good people occasionally take the wrong turn. The way that Bageecha and Om’s family stories are juxtaposed is really well done. Ultimately, Veer’s decision to turn to illicit means of obtaining money and his involvement with drug dealers at the conclusion of the narrative result in the deaths of Om’s family members.
This film teaches us a valuable lesson: if you have allowed greed to grow inside of you, you will eventually suffer.
Similar to this story, Veer could have lived longer and had the chance to make a respectable living by working on small farms or for other organisations if he had not grown avaricious and had not used drugs with his uncle.Om, his father, has always been a kind man who works only to provide for his family without any greed.
Technical points:
In this short film, Shipla Johar is doing a fantastic job. Put simply, he is attempting to depict a struggling family that is suffering due to a lack of resources. A straightforward tale with a compelling plot point. crafted from Shipla Johar.
Excellent photographic direction was used. Outstanding work, Pranab Mule. The film’s opening shot was excellent, and it did a great job of maintaining its cutting point. The lighting is excellent, and the interior shot design has a cinematic appearance. However, the outdoor photos did not do as well; there was not quite enough color correction. Additionally, there is some weak BGM during the recording.
Om does a really good job acting in his drama; it is a little dramatic, but good. Ganga, his wife, is an excellent actress because she performed so well in the part. While both of his sons, Ajay and Veer, were excellent.
We would like to conclude that Bagheecha, directed by Shipa Johar, is a good film. It will receive seven marks overall, out of ten.
